Welcome to Jaxon's page.

He will turn 2 in October and is ready to conquer the world. He has a contagious laugh, an insatiable appetite and relentless energy.

He loves playing drums, guitars, wrestling and driving his mother crazy. He almost weighs as much as his 5 year old sister and looks forward to the day when he can repay her for all her "sisterly courtesies" over the last year.

He really did have a good time - regardless of what this expression communicates.

Jaxon's 2nd birthday is in October. Rather than buy lots of toys that he'll forsake once he's broken them, we like to put the extra thought and effort into something with more impact and posterity. Hannah got her own room last year and Jaxon has been living in the shadow of his sister's former room since. I know this looks a bit grown-up for a 2 year old, but we hope this makeover will last a good half-decade or so.

We are leaning on Jaxon's love of music (specifically drums) for a concept. The posters in the entry way here will be a "posterized" version of the photo to the left most likely. The "Orange" amp will be a concealed bookcase and we'll see what Craigslist has to offer for his retro "green room" chair. He loves sports, so we'll mount his hoop on the wall and give him a miniature faux half court. We'll have to see what all sticks from this draft as the next few months wear on. A project like this takes a bit of prep and work - hence the early start.
