Polly holding armbands from this week's trips to the hospital. Yet another log on the unforgettable fire that is our life...

The kids have been sick for weeks.
This week they moved from sinus infections to croup to RSV.
Polly has loosely held onto what was probably a sinus infection as well.
Valentine's Day was the 11th Anniversary of our marriage. Not quite the way we wanted to celebrate.
Everyone is finally starting to rebound after several weeks of illness.

See it larger on my Flickr site.

We visited my dad in Dallas in September of 2008. This is a shot of our good friends Susan and Jim with my dad at one of our favorite Dallas restaurants - Aw Shucks.

This is my dad doing what he does most - talk up a storm.

This is why we come here, among other items... oysters on the half shell.

Fried oysters too.

And crab...

It's really that good.

Across the street from Aw Shucks is the Granada Theatre. It's a sweet venue. It used to be a movie theatre where you could watch first run movies and order dinner at your table.

This is the building my dad's church just bought in South Dallas.

Chairs in one of the classrooms in the church building.

I had the opportunity to travel to Dallas for my sister's wedding. Although they hired a photographer, I took my rig along to play second fiddle.
This was my first attempt at shooting a wedding. I'm glad the pressure wasn't all on me. This is high-pressure - only one chance to get it right, work.
My respect to all the wedding photographers out there.
